Indie Dyer NewsWelcome to Indie Dyer! December 12, 2008 Just a quick note to let everyone know that I am going to out of town attending my father's wedding for a week or so, and I will fill any all all orders as soon as I get back. Thanks for your understanding. :) Jenna, Indie Dyer
NOTICE: Back from Stitches! I am going to argue with Quickbooks and get the receipts out and finish up the last couple of October colors of the month orders. I have the new colors of the month for the WoW stuff posted on my blog. I am also going to update my Website to reflect I am carrying some patterns. I am going to do a variety of kits for gifts and things of both dyed yarns and undyed yarns. I am going to be carrying some new really nice blanks at a very reasonable (read resellable) price from Plymouth yarns. I dyed up some samples of their yarn Happy Feet which are 192 yds / 50 grams 10% Nylon /90% Select Superwash. The yarn just feel great and has a prefect amount of nylon in it. It dyes bright and vibrant and I am trying to offer a deal where I will be selling it blank just under wholesale. That should be good for people who want to resell as well. I am playing with a new logo specially designed for me by Ryan (if you haven't heard about Ryan go see Loopy's Ewe's Stitches blog). I think it looks great and I hope it's not too hard to read. Any feedback or comments are welcome.
Anyways expect a mailing soon. I have lots of big decisions to make about how much dyed yarn to sell and how invloved in pattern selling I want to delve. A lot of things moving and shaking around here. On anothre note I am going to be adding some pictures of things other people have been dyeing with my blanks and dyes on my from the dye room page. Happy Dyeing! Jenna

Well, I just got back from the Ally Pally show in London and although the show was a little disappointing all the cool stuff in London definitely made up for it. We spent our time with Gill Alexander from The Woolly Workshop. She was our gracious host in London and took us sightseeing to the Tower of London. Which actually is a castle with 13 towers. Good to know. Erica from eknits.us came and we hung out, she dyes sock yarn and is a pattern rep. She took me to one of the COOLEST places in London, I Knit London. They have knit nights and because the have a liquor license you can purchase a premium alcoholic beverage with which you can use to help with the free flow of creativity. Yep. I am starting to prep for Stitches East. I have everything on my site in stock and ready to ship. Most yarns I keep in stock of around 25 skeins, so if someone swoops in and orders a bunch I will have to reorder. I just received a big shipment of the CTH Supersock and the Louet gems. I put out some new dye ensembles since I got a bunch of new colors in, just click on the dyes page. I made up some Holiday Celebrations, Fall Festival (for those of you who like fall) and Tropical Paradise (for those of you who are ready for your vacation now please). I am also endeavoring to expand my site, I will be participating in some sock clubs, and color of the month dyed yarns so I will put up a link where you can look at those. :)
Last but not least I am working with Let's Knit magazine to put out a new glitten pattern. The picture above is a pair for Adam he dyed the yarn himself. I also have been updateing my blog and the dye room part of the site. So check back!
